The Las Vegas South Point Race and Sportsbook has updated their charts for the 2016-17 National Football League regulars season win totals and with just two weeks before the Week #1 Sunday the book pimps the Green Bay Packers as the franchise to win the most games this season. The over-under win total for the NFC North Aaron Rodgers led Packers is 11o (-130) followed by the Minnesota Vikings (9.5), Chicago Bears (7.5) and Detroit Lions (7).

The sportsbook has the NFC South Carolina Panthers with 10.5 (-130), a wide margin over divisional mates Atlanta (7.5), Tampa Bay (7) and New Orleans (7). The NFC East underwent a season win total face lift with the injury to Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. The Cowboys season win total is now OFF the South Point board after opening the Boyz at 9.5 (-110). As of this Monday, August 29th morning, the New York Giants (8) have the highest regular season win total in the division followed by Washington (7) and Philadelphia (6.5). The sportsbook’s futures for the NFC West point to the defending champions, Arizona (10.5) and Seattle (10.5) as the most likely to succeed this season with a large gap to the third spot in the division, the LA Rams (7) and lastly Chip Kelly’s San Francisco 49ers (6.5).
The AFC West troupe, according to South Point, will find the Kansas City Chiefs dethroning the 2016 Super Bowl winners, the Denver Broncos (9). The Chiefs currently own a 9.5 (+115) regular season win total with Oakland (Las Vegas) (8.5) and San Diego (7.5) rounding out the four in the division.
The somewhat surprising news out of Denver is the Broncos announced this morning that Trevor Siemian will be the team’s starting quarterback for Week 1, according to head coach Gary Kubiak.
South Point has issued a share of the top 2016-17 AFC regular season win total to Brady-less New England (10.5). They share the American Conference mountain top with AFC North Pittsburgh. The rest of the AFC East looks like this; Buffalo (8), New York Jets (7.5) and Miami (7). As mentioned, Pittsburgh (10.5) tops the AFC North with Cincinnati (9.5), Baltimore (8.5) and Cleveland (5) rounding out the four divisional franchises. The AFC South is a wide open foursome with Indianapolis (9), Houston (8.5), Jacksonville (7.5) and Tennessee (6).
