How quickly can the Minnesota Timberwolves grow, and can they become a serious threat to Golden State in the Western Conference? The Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas has released a select number of team props for the 2017-18 NBA season, and Minnesota has opened at -260 to make the playoffs next year.

Speaking of Golden State, the Westgate has also released an opening line on their win total for next season: 66.5 wins. The Warriors finished the 2016-17 season with a record of 67-15, and Kevin Durant missed 20 games due to injury. Will Golden State continue to put the pedal to the metal during the regular season, or will they adopt the “We need rest” philosophy that’s been employed by San Antonio, Cleveland, and some other spots? The Warriors had the best record in the league by six games last season (12 games to the third-best team), so there certainly appears to be room to let the foot off the gas in certain spots, if that’s a route they decide to take.

Other notable props that have been released include: Philadelphia making the playoffs (Yes -125) and the LA Lakers making the playoffs (Yes +500). 2017-18 NBA season wins and playoff props, courtesy of Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook
