2018 Stanley Cup Series Prices (April 21 Update)

Can we have six more of those? Monday night’s thrilling Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals has hockey fans itching for the rest of the playoffs. Nashville had 14 more shots, six more hits, had fewer giveaways, had more blocked shots and had more takeaways, but couldn’t steal Game 1 on the road. At the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas, the Penguins are -150 favorites to take a 2-0 series lead in Wednesday night’s Game 2.

The Stanley Cup Finals Game 2 prop that makes me raise an eyebrow is over/under 30.5 shots on goal for Pittsburgh. Nashville limited the Penguins to 12 total shots on goal on Monday night. During the middle of the game, Pittsburgh was held without a shot on goal for an astonishing 37:09. Can Nashville expect another repeat performance like that? Not really. That was quite an amazing feat. However, Nashville executed Peter Laviolette’s defensive gameplan wonderfully. Is Pittsburgh able to make the necessary adjustments to go from a 12-shot performance, to more than 30? I’m skeptical.
