Unlike the National League side, opening odds for the 2018 AL Cy Young are much more wide-open. At the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook, Boston’s Chris Sale is the +225 favorite, followed by Cleveland’s Corey Kluber (+250), Houston’s Justin Verlander (+800) and Cleveland’s Carlos Carrasco (+800).

The defending World Series champions have three starters at the top of the odds sheet with Verlander, Gerritt Cole (18/1) and Dallas Keuchel (18/1). Japanese rookie Shohei Ohtani opens at 30/1 odds for the LA Angels. There are some big prices on some household names toward the bottom of the odds sheet. Seattle’s Felix Hernandez is 80/1, the Yankees’ Sonny Gray and Minnesota’s Ervin Santana are both 100/1.
