Pittsburgh…What happened?! Big Ben’s endzone interception changed the landscape of the AFC playoff picture. New England now holds the path to homefield advantage, and Jacksonville is only a game behind the Steelers for the No. 2 seed. At the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook, both Pittsburgh and New England have opened as double-digit favorites in Week 16. The Patriots are 10.5-point home favorites against Buffalo, and the Steelers are 10-point road favorites at Houston.

Other notable games for Christmas weekend include New Orleans opening as a 5-point favorite over Atlanta in a big NFC South showdown, and Jacksonville as a 5.5-point road favorite at San Francisco. It’s one of the ugliest games on the schedule, but I think there’s some value in the Giants +5 at Arizona. The Cardinals’ offense hasn’t scored a touchdown the last two weeks. ESPN’s Football Power Index actually has the Giants as a small favorite. Seven Cardinals players failed to finish Sunday’s game against Washington. The Giants are lacking talent on the offensive side of the ball, but at least with Eli Manning back at quarterback and Steve Spagnuolo at the helm, they appear to have found some consistency. Arizona’s roster is in complete disarray.
