The #7 Texas Tech Red Raiders took down a share of the Big 12 regular season crown, and they’ll
begin their quest to take down the conference tournament tonight. They’ll be taking on the West
Virginia Mountaineers as big favorites in quarterfinal action from the Spirit Center in Kansas City,

West Virginia survived its opening round matchup with Oklahoma yesterday. They entered the game
as 6.5-point underdogs, but the team managed to walk off the floor with a 72-71 win. For the season,
the Mountaineers are 13-19 (11-20-1 ATS) and just 4-14 in conference play.
Texas Tech closed out the regular season on fire by winning its last nine. The team has been off since
Saturday when they picked up an 80-73 road victory over Iowa State. The Red Raiders have an
overall record of 26-5 (15-15-1 ATS) and a mark of 14-4 in the Big 12.
West Virginia Mountaineers
A pair of five-game losing streaks derailed West Virginia’s Big 12 season, but the team closed the
year out by trading wins and losses for the final six. Over the last 10 games, the Mountaineers are 3-7
(4-6 ATS). They fell to Texas Tech twice during the regular season.
Totals check in at 18-14 for the season to date with the Over coming in for five of the last six.
Leading scorer Sagaba Konate is out for the season with a knee injury. Lamont West led the way
versus Oklahoma with 15 points, while Jermaine Haley chipped in 14.

The Red Raiders have not tasted defeat since a 79-63 road loss at Kansas on February 2. Over the last
10 games, the team is 9-1 (8-2 ATS). They picked up a 91-62 home victory over the Jayhawks in the
rematch over that span.
Team totals have been Over for five of the last six, but they lean towards the Under at 13-17 on the
year. Jarrett Culver is the biggest weapon for Texas Tech. He’s averaging 18.3 ppg, 6.2 rpg, and 3.6
