NBA Playoff Series Odds

The National Basketball Association postseason is underway. And it didn’t take but a single game to find the underdog and visiting Brooklyn Nets finding victory against Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers. Gamers can count on Philadelphia’s Series Odds coming down from the minus-800 it was before today’s tip against the Nets.

Embiid, who had been listed as doubtful, started for the 76ers in Game 1 of the playoff series. Embiid scored 22 points in 24 minutes but it wasn’t enough to prevent the home team from falling by a 111-102 final.

The All-Star center has been battling tendinitis in his left knee. The same injury that cost the former Kansas Jayhawk a large number of games in the March and early April. In total Embiid missed 14 of the final 24 games of the regular season.

Before this series a number of NBA pundits questioned the ability of Philly to advance beyond the second round without a healthy and conditions Embiid. After today’s performance many will be questioning their ability to advance beyond the Nets.
