This should be a fun week for upsets in college football. Let’s put Boise State, Wisconsin and West Virginia on upset alert.
Boise State has risen to 20th in my member college football rankings, and the offense has been potent. But they play a strong BYU team ranked 36th.
Wisconsin has surprised many this season, and I called Iowa overrated this preseason. But Wisconsin will face a stiff test at Iowa City.
West Virginia is off to a strong 5-0 start, but don’t discount TCU just because they’ve lost two close games to Arkansas and Oklahoma.
The odds favor these three teams to win, but don’t be surprised to see at least one of these highly ranked teams to go down.
Kansas State will beat Texas by 2.0.
Cincinnati will beat East Carolina by 0.8.
UCLA will beat Utah by 6.9.
Oklahoma State will beat Kansas by 18.9.
Air Force will beat Hawaii by 16.9.
North Carolina will beat Virginia by 10.0.
Missouri will beat Middle Tennessee State by 5.6.
Utah State will beat Fresno State by 17.3.
Wisconsin will beat Iowa by 2.1.
Virginia Tech will beat Miami (FL) by 1.3.
Oregon will beat California by 2.1.
Northwestern will beat Indiana by 3.2.
Western Kentucky will beat Old Dominion by 17.9.
Mississippi State will beat Kentucky by 5.1.
What’s wrong with Green Bay? No idea.
Aaron Rodgers had all the time in the world to throw against the Giants two weeks ago and could only must 5.8 yards per attempt against a depleted secondary.
My only guess is that it’s hard to stay at the top of the NFL.
The numbers still like the Packers big over the Bears tonight.
Green Bay will beat Chicago by 9.6.
Cincinnati will beat Cleveland by 12.1.
New York Jets will beat Baltimore by 1.5.
