Game Preview

The Cyclones faced Baylor in quarterfinal action on Thursday. They were 3-point favorites at tip off
and covered with ease in an 83-66 win. The team struggled to close out the season with three straight
losses. Iowa State is 21-11 (16-14-2 ATS) overall and 9-9 in conference play.

The Wildcats took down a share of the Big 12 regular season crown. The team’s mark of 14-4 in
conference play was tied with Texas Tech. Overall, Kansas State is 25-7 (19-12-1 ATS). Yesterday,
they took down TCU by a score of 70-61 as 4-point favorites.

Iowa State Cyclones

Iowa State was looking like a contender in the Big 12 with an 8-4 record in conference play in the
middle of February, but the team struggled mightily from that point. Over the last 10 games, the
Cyclones are just 4-6 (3-7 ATS).

Team totals are in the middle at 16-15 with the Over coming in for the last four in a row. Marial
Shayok leads the way in scoring with 18.6 ppg. Lindell Wigginton is next up with 13.5 ppg, while
Talen Horton-Tucker chips in 12.4 ppg. Horton-Tucker topped the team in the victory over Baylor
with 21 points.

Kansas State Wildcats

Kansas State closed out the regular season with three straight victories. The club’s Big 12 season was
highlighted by a five- and a four-game winning streak. For their last 10 outings, the Wildcats check
in at 8-2 (7-2 ATS).

Totals have been Under for four of the last five and lean that way on the year at 13-19. Barry Brown
Jr. tops the team in scoring with 15.0 ppg. Dean Wade is next up with 12.9 ppg and 6.2 rog, but he
has been out with a foot injury. Xavier Sneed led the team with 19 points in Thursday’s big victory
over TCU.

Iowa State vs. Kansas State Prediction

These two programs hooked up twice in the regular season with the road team winning both teams.
Kansas State picked up a 1-point win as 8.5-point underdogs in January. Iowa State returned the
favor the following month with a 14-point win as 2.5-point road dogs.

The Cyclones have a 6-4 edge for the last 10 meetings. Totals are 4-5-1 over that span. These two
squads are evenly matched. Iowa State has the edge on offense, but Kansas State is the stronger
