Game Preview

The Wildcats enter tonight’s contest in the wake of a huge 17-point win over Tennessee on Saturday.
That game had big ramifications on the latest AP Top 25 poll, with Kentucky rising from 5th to 4th
while the Volunteers dropped from 1st to 5th. For the season, the Wildcats are 21-4 (15-10 ATS).
The Tigers have dropped three of their last four games. They were also in action on Saturday, losing
by 10 points at Ole Miss. That loss came on the heels of a 1-point home victory over Arkansas.
Missouri checks in with a record of 12-12 (10-13-1 ATS) thus far.

Kentucky Wildcats

Kentucky’s win over Tennessee was a big bounce back from last Tuesday’s home defeat to LSU. The
Wildcats are now 10-2 in conference play, one-game behind conference leaders Tennessee and LSU.
Over the last 10, Kentucky is 9-1 (9-1 ATS). The team has been solid on the road with a mark of 6-1
(6-1 ATS) thus far.

Team totals are 10-15 with the Under coming in for four of the last five. P.J. Washington is the
biggest offensive threat for Kentucky with averages of 14.8 ppg and 8.0 boards. Keldon Johnson is
next up with 14.2 ppg, while Tyler Herro adds in 13.4 ppg.

Missouri Tigers

Missouri has hit the skids. The team is just 3-7 (4-6 ATS) over its last 10 contests. The club is decent
at home with a mark of 8-5 (6-6-1 ATS) thus far. However, the home court hasn’t been friendly of
late with the club dropping its last four home games.

Team totals have been Over for five of the last seven and stand at 12-11 for the year. Jordan Geist
leads the way for the Tigers with 14.2 ppg and 4.7 rpg. Mark Smith is the second option with 12.1
ppg and 5.4 boards. Jeremiah Tilmon is contributing 10.9 ppg and 5.7 rpg.

Kentucky vs. Missouri Prediction

The Wildcats have a dominant 9-1 edge in the last 10 meetings of these two programs. The teams
split both meetings last year with the home squad winning each time. Kentucky has covered six of
the last 10 versus Missouri, while totals have been Over for three of the last five meetings.
The hosts are treading water this season, while the visitors are one of the top teams in the nation. The
spread is large with Kentucky favored by 11, but we like them to cruise to victory and cover this
evening.
