The #6 Kentucky Wildcats are a game off the pace in the SEC with just two to play. They have a
chance to make a little headway tonight when they travel to Ole Miss to take on the Rebels as 5-point
favorites.

Date/Time/TV: Tues. Mar.5, 9:00 PM EST, ESPN

Game Preview

The Wildcats are looking to bounce back from a 19-point road loss to Tennessee on Saturday. That
loss snapped a four-game winning streak, a span that started with a 17-point home victory over the
Volunteers. For the season, Kentucky is 24-5 (16-13 ATS).

The Rebels check in with a record of 19-10 (21-8 ATS). The team has dropped its last two games and
three of its last four. Ole Miss traveled to Arkansas on Saturday, and they walked off the floor on the
wrong side of a 73-72 decision.

Kentucky Wildcats

Kentucky has a mark of 13-3 in SEC play. That leaves them one-game behind the conference leading
Volunteers and LSU Tigers, both of whom have 14-2 records versus SEC foes. The Wildcats are 8-2
(6-4 ATS) for their last 10. The team has fared well on the road this season with a record of 7-2 (6-3
ATS).

Team totals have been Under for eight of the last nine and lean that way on the season at 10-19. P.J.
Washington tops the team in scoring and rebounds with 14.4 and 7.7 per game. Tyler Herro is
averaging 13.9 ppg, while Keldon Johnson adds in 13.4 ppg.

Ole Miss Rebels

After a solid start to the regular season which saw them run their record to 13-3, the Rebels have
leveled off. The team is just 5-5 (6-4 ATS) for its last 10 games. Ole Miss has defended the home
court pretty well with a record of 11-4 (10-5 ATS) to date.

The Under has come in for seven of the team’s last eight games. Totals skew in that direction for the
year at 11-18. Breein Tyree is the top scorer for Ole Miss. He’s averaging 18.3 ppg and 3.1 boards.
Terence Davis is next up with averages of 15.5 ppg and 3.4 dimes.

Kentucky vs. Ole Miss Prediction

This will be the first meeting of these two programs since last February. For that one, Kentucky was
an 8.5-point home favorite, and they cruised to a 96-78 victory. The Wildcats have won their last
eight meetings versus the Rebels, covering in three straight. Totals are 6-3 over that span.

Kentucky is installed as a 5-point road favorite for this one. They are clearly the better team on
paper, and it’s tough to see them stubbing their toe so close to the finish line of the regular season.
We’ll take the visitors to win and cover.
