Game Preview

Nebraska checks in with an overall record of 15-13 (13-13-1 ATS), and a mark of just 5-12 in
conference play. That leaves them in the lower rungs of the Big Ten, nine games behind the 1st place
Michigan State Spartans and Purdue Boilermakers. The Cornhuskers enter tonight’s game riding a
two-game losing streak.

Michigan played host to the Spartans on Sunday. They were 4.5-point favorites at tip-off, but they
came up short in a 77-70 defeat. That dropped them to 13-4 in conference play, leaving them one
game behind the top spot in the standings. The Wolverines are 24-4 (15-13 ATS) for the season.

Nebraska Cornhuskers

The Cornhuskers started off the season well enough at 11-2, but the team has struggled mightily in
conference play. Nebraska is just 2-8 (2-8 ATS) over its last 10 outings. The team has also had
problems on the road with a mark of 2-7 (3-6 ATS) thus far.

Team totals have been Over for three of the last five and stand at 11-15 on the year. James Palmer Jr.
is the top threat for the Cornhuskers. He’s averaging 18.9 ppg and 3.2 dimes. Isaac Copeland Jr.
contributes 14.0 ppg and 5.3 boards, while Glynn Watson Jr. adds in 1.4 ppg and 4.0 rpg.

Michigan Wolverines

The Wolverines started off the season ona 17-0 run, but the team has come back to earth recently.
The club is 7-3 (6-4 ATS) for the last 10. Sunday’s defeat to the Spartans aside, Michigan is strong at
home with a record of 16-1 (8-9 ATS).

Team totals have been Over for four of the last five but lean towards the Under at 10-17 to date.
Ignas Brazdeikis leads the way on offense with 14.4 ppg and 5.2 boards. Jordan Poole is next up with
13.2 ppg and 3.2 rpg, while Charles Matthews chips in with 12.8 ppg and 5.1 rpg.

Nebraska vs. Michigan Prediction

Michigan has dominated the recent meetings of these two teams with a make of 9-1. They last
hooked up last March on Nebraska’s home floor. The Wolverines cruised to a 77-58 victory, easily
covering as 5-point favorites. Totals are 5-5 for the last 10 meetings.

The hosts are installed as big 12.5-point home favorites tonight. While that’s a little on the hefty side,
we’re expecting a big bounce back performance in the wake of a home defeat. The Wolverines win
and cover over a conference also-ran.
