Game Preview

The Sun Devils had a date with St. John’s for a First Four game on Wednesday. They were 2-point
favorites at tip-off, and they walked off the floor with a 74-65 victory to advance. For the year,
Arizona State is 23-10 (18-14-1) and 12-6 in Pac-12 play.

The Bulls were the top team in the MAC during the regular season at 16-2. Their strong play carried
over into the conference tournament where they defeated Bowling Green in the finals by 14 points as
11-point favorites. Overall, Buffalo is 31-3 (18-14-1 ATS).

Arizona State Sun Devils

Arizona State closed out the regular season with two straight wins, and they took down UCLA by 11
points in the Pac-12 quarterfinals. They lost in OT to Oregon in the semifinals by four points. Over
the last 10 games, the Sun Devils are 7-3 (6-4 ATS).

Totals stand at 13-20 on the season with the Under coming in for six of the last eight. Luguentz Dort
is the top option on offense with 16.2 ppg, while Remy Martin contributes 13.1. In the victory over
St. John’s, Dort led the way with 21 points.

Buffalo Bulls

Buffalo closed out the regular season on fire, and the hot streak continued in the conference
tournament with three straight victories to take it down. Over the last 10 games, the Bulls are a
perfect 10-0 (5-5 ATS).

Totals are right in the middle at 16-16 on the year, but the Over has come in for three of the last five.
CJ Massinburg leads the Bulls with an average of 18.3 ppg, while Nick Perkins adds in 14.4 and 7.3
boards. Jeremy Harris topped the team in the MAC final with 31 points.

Arizona State vs. Buffalo March Madness Prediction

The Sun Devils also went the First Four route last year, but the team fell to Syracuse by four points.
The team hasn’t advanced as far as round two since 2009. Last year, Buffalo defeated Arizona by a
score of 89-68 in round one. The dream would come to an end the following round with a 20-point
loss to Kentucky.

Buffalo is favored by 5 points for this contest. They’re the stronger team on paper with edges across
the board, and we like them to get the job done and cover.
