The Pirates made it to the Big East title game with an 81-79 upset win over Marquette on Friday. They squared off with Villanova for the title on Saturday as 4.5-point underdogs, losing by a score of 74-72. For the season, Seton Hall was 9-9 in conference play and 20-13 (17-16 ATS) overall.

The Terriers dominated the Southern Conference during the regular season at 18-0, and it was a similar story in the tournament. They played UNC Greensboro in the final, picking up a 70-58 victory as 7.5-point favorites. On the year, Wofford is 29-4 (19-11 ATS).

Seton Hall Pirates

Seton Hall was pretty solid in non-conference play this season at 11-4, but the team was up and down in conference play. However, they closed out the regular season with wins over conference heavyweights Marquette and Villanova. Over the last 10, the Pirates are 6-4 (7-3 ATS).

Team totals have been Over for three of the last four, but they trend towards the Under at 14-18 overall. Myles Powell is the top option offense for the Pirates. He’s averaging 22.9 ppg, and he led the way in the loss to Villanova with 25 points. Myles Cale contributes 10.3 ppg.

Wofford Terriers

Wofford has not tasted defeat since December 19, a 98-87 road loss to Mississippi State. The team is a perfect 10-0 (9-1 ATS) over the last 10 games. The Terriers are riding a 20-game winning streak as they prepare for March Madness.

Totals have been Over for three of the last four and stand at 16-14 on the year. Fletcher Morgan is the top option on offense. He’s averaging 20.5 ppg. Cameron Jackson chips in with 14.6 ppg. Morgan and Nathan Hoover tied for the team lead in the win over UNC Greensboro with 20 points apiece.

Seton Hall vs. Wofford March Madness Prediction

The Pirates were in the tournament last year. They took down NC State by a score of 94-83 in round one, but they lost by four points to Kansas in the second round. The team has made it to the dance four years in a row, losing in the first-round in both 2016 and 2017.

The Terriers last made it to the tournament in 2015. They lost their opening game to Arkansas by a score of 56-53. The team has made four March Madness appearances overall, but they are still searching for their first victory.

This looks like the year they’ll make it happen. We’ll take Wofford minus the points in what should be an entertaining game.
