Since its inception. Championship Sunday has become one of the biggest dates on the English Premier League calendar. It is the final day of the season, with every team in action and every game kicking off at the same time. For the teams that still have something to play for, it’s all about holding your nerve and getting the result that you need. There are a lot of teams in that position this weekend, and while Liverpool have long since wrapped up the title, there are other battles that still need to be fought. The relegation fight is perhaps the tensest of all, but this game is also huge, as it will decide who makes it into the Champions League this season. While both teams will be in Europe next season, it is the UCL spot that they both want, as that is where the money and the prestige is to be found. Leicester are at home and really need the win, while Manchester United need only pick up a point to get in. The bookies have this one in as a PK play, with the goal total set at 2 ½.

Why bet on Leicester City
When it was announced that the Premier League would be returning to action, we all knew that some teams would adapt better to the condensed schedule than others. It is probably fair to suggest that Leicester City have had their issues, as they have seen what looked to be a certain spot in the top 4 turn into potentially missing out on the Champions League. Leicester are currently sitting in 5th, but they also know that a win here would get them in. They could also still, by courtesy of their superior goal difference, still make it in with a tie, assuming that Chelsea loses to Wolves on Sunday. The good news for Leicester is that they have been good at home this season, going 11-4-3, while scoring 35 and surrendering 15.
Why bet on Manchester United
Manchester United are sure to still be kicking themselves after their 1-1 tie with West Ham in the middle of the week, as a win in that one would have put them in the UCL next season. As it stands now, though, they sit in 3rd and need only pick up a point to punch their ticket. A week or so ago, you might have thought that a point would have been an easy get, but United saw their 19-game unbeaten streak come to an end with a 3-1 loss to Chelsea in the FA Cup before the draw with West Ham. On the road this season, they are 7-5-6, scoring 24 and surrendering 19. United are on a run of 11 straight games unbeaten versus Leicester, including a 1-0 win earlier this season.
Expert Pick and Final Score Prediction
This is a huge game for both teams, so you would expect this to be rather tight in the early going. With Leicester needing a win, they need to open this one up, which I think plays into the hands of Manchester United.
