Tottenham fell against Chelsea midweek and have now lost two in a row for the first time this season. They will look to bounce back to winning ways when they will host London rivals Arsenal on Saturday. Arsenal are coming off a massive home win over Bournemouth and have been great lately. But they haven’t had much luck in this venue in recent years.

Tottenham (20-8-0) are coming off a tough 0-2 loss on the road against Chelsea. After a really dull first half, Chelsea took the lead at the 57th minute. Tottenham’s defender Kieran Trippier scored a weird own goal at the 84th minute for the final 0-2. Tottenham have now lost two in a row for the first time this season. They are still sitting at the 3rd spot with 60 points, but their title hopes were decimated. Tottenham have been quite solid at home so far (9-4-0), winning each of their last four in all competitions. However, they have kept just three clean sheets in their last seven home matches in all competitions.

On the other hand, Arsenal (17-6-5) were stunning in their home match against Bournemouth. They took an early two-goal lead by the 27th minute but were up by 1-2 in the end of the first half. They exploded in the second and scored three more goals, destroying Bournemouth just like we predicted. Arsenal have now won three in a row in all competitions, and four of their last five. They are still sitting at the 4th spot of the league table with 56 points. They are one ahead of Manchester United and four behind Tottenham. The Gunners have been mediocre on the road so far in the Premier League (5-5-3). Moreover, they have won just two of their last nine away matches in all competitions (2-5-2).

The two teams last met in the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup, where Tottenham won by 2-0 on the road. Earlier in the season it was Arsenal who won by 2-4 at home for the Premier League. Tottenham have been excellent as hosts against Arsenal in recent years, losing just one of the last ten Premier League matches (6-1-3).

Tottenham saw their title chances take a huge dent with those two back to back losses. I find it close to impossible for them to lose three in a row. Especially as hosts, having dominated Arsenal in recent years. I will take the home win on this one, but keep in mind that Tottenham still don’t have a draw this season. .
