While it has certainly been great to see soccer back on the TV, it has been a little weird to watch the games being played in empty stadiums. NBCSN, who carry the Premier League games in the United States, have been piping in crowd noise to try and give viewers more of an authentic feel, but you still can’t help but notice that no one is in the stadium, which makes things that much stranger. The games have been a bit of a mixed bag, too, as it looks as though some players are struggling to come to terms with the new normal. Still, the show must go on, and we are now reaching a point where teams are getting set to play their second game since returning, so perhaps we will get into more of a regular flow once players get used to the new setup. We have a good one set to go on Tuesday, with Tottenham and West Ham set to go head to head in a London derby. Tottenham are still fighting for a European spot, while West Ham are in a relegation battle. Tottenham come into this one favored by 1/2, with the goal total set at 2 1/2.

Why bet on Tottenham
One of the better games we have seen since play resumed in the English Premier League was the 1-1 tie that Tottenham had with Manchester United over the weekend. While it was an entertaining game, it was a result that was probably better for United than it was for Tottenham, as they are still trying to chase down the Red Devils for the final European spot. As it stands now, Tottenham are 11-9-10 on the season, which leaves them in 9th on 42 points, still 4 points out of 5th. On the positive side of things, Tottenham are in the top 5 in the league when it comes to their home record, which sits at 8-3-4. They have scored 26 and surrendered just 12 in those 15 games, so they are certainly tough to beat in their own building.
Why bet on West Ham
West Ham will have liked their chances of getting something out of their first game back, but instead, they ended up going down 2-0 at home to Wolves in a disappointing effort. The hammers are now in real danger at the bottom end of the league, sitting just one spot ahead of the drop zone, courtesy of a superior goal differential, which is still at a rather poor -17. They have two teams below them, Bournemouth and Aston Villa, breathing down their neck, so they really need to start picking up some points if they are to get clear of the danger. On the road this season, West Ham have gone 3-3-9, scoring 12 goals while giving up 24.
Expert Pick and Final Score Prediction
We can only hope that this game lives up to the last meeting between these two, a game that Tottenham won 3-2. Both teams really need the maximum points from this one, but I think it is Tottenham who will get them.
