The usual suspects are right where you’d expect them to be. The Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook has released their updated 2017-18 college football conference championship odds, and Alabama is a big favorite in the SEC (-150), Ohio State is atop the Big Ten (-140), and Oklahoma is favored in the Big XII (-125). Other notable favorites include Florida State in the ACC (-110), USC in the Pac-12 (Even), and Boise State in the Mountain West (6/5).

Take a look at the logjam in the American Athletic Conference. The AAC is the only conference to have five teams at championship odds of 5/1 or less: South Florida (8/5), Houston (9/2), Central Florida (9/2), Memphis (5/1) and Navy (5/1). The USF Bulls are loaded on offense but lost their head coach Willie Taggart to Oregon. Houston has the league’s best player in Ed Oliver. UCF rebounded from an 0-12 season in 2015 to go 6-7 last year and reach a bowl game.

The 2017 Cheetah Guide is a “must own” for any serious college football bettor. This year’s guide includes season win total projections, projected lines on all games, power ratings, returning starters, and much more. Sports Cheetah went 179-128 for a total client profit of +130.6% last season across all his selections at WagerTalk (including 2nd half, videos, etc), after going 165-110, +135.02% in 2015-16.
