2015 World Series Odds: Mid-September Edition

“Who are these guys?!” That’s the question that bettors must ask when evaluating the season of the New York Mets. Are they truly a dominant faction with the best young rotation in baseball, like they’ve been playing since August 1? Or are they simply the beneficiaries of being in by-far the worst division in baseball? Nonetheless, plenty of Mets support has hit the window with New York’s “other” team sitting at +650 to win the World Series and +350 to win the NL pennant at Bovada.

Toronto maintains its status as World Series favorites at +350 despite the big injury to shortstop Troy Tulowitzki. The Blue Jays are followed by the Royals (+550), Dodgers (+600) and Cardinals (+600). The NL Central has been the best division and race this year, with the Cardinals, Pirates (+1000) and Cubs (+1200) all in the mix. Two of those three teams will meet in the NL Wild Card game, with the winner visiting the Division champ in the next round.
