Hornets vs Bulls Preview and Prediction for Thursday, May 6, 2021
Big night for the Bulls, who are expected to get highlight-reel G Zach LaVine (27.5 ppg) back from health protocols in time vs. this visit to Michael Jordan’s Bee Hive. LaVine has missed eleven games, with Chicago losing eight of those (including four in a row) as its offense has bogged down in his absence, failing to touch the century mark in the past four games.
Chicago can only wish as much as the Bulls currently sit 12th in the East queue, and even with LaVine, Billy Donovan’s crew lacked consistency; after the trade deadline that landed Nikola Vecevic from Orlando, Chicago was only 3-8 SU before LaVine was shut down. Unless Zach is flying in his return, we would rather not rely upon the Bulls, rather trusting Charlotte’s extended “under” trend (22-8) instead.
