2020 Masters Odds from Las Vegas
Saving the best for last? The PGA Tour has just announced a revised schedule for the 2020 golf season, and The Masters is now scheduled for November 12-15. Caesars Sports Book has just released their updated 2020 Masters odds to reflect that change, and Rory McIlroy has opened as the 7-to-1 favorite, followed by Jon Rahm (+1400), Tiger Woods (+1600), Brooks Koepka (+1600) and Justin Thomas (+1600).

Who does the change in venue affect the most? Probably Brooks Koepka. After finishing second to Tiger Woods in Augusta last year, Koepka had major knee surgery and was still on the mend when the Tour suspended play in March. In three starts in 2020, Koepka finished T43, T47, and missed the cut at the Honda Classic. The delay will likely give him an opportunity to round into form later in the season.
Recent history has not been kind toward the previous year’s winner, but the last player to go back-to-back at the Masters was…Tiger Woods (2001-02). Patrick Reed finished T-36 last year after winning in 2018. Sergio Garcia missed the cut in 2018 after winning in 2017. Danny Willett missed the cut in 2017 after winning in 2016.
