Barcelona have not fared very well in their last few matches, as they are coming off three consecutive draws in all competitions. They are still sitting at the top of the La Liga though, and that gives them some room to rest key players. They will now have a great shot to bounce back to winning ways when they will host Valladolid on Saturday. Valladolid have been really bad lately and are in for a very tough match against Barcelona.

Spread: Valladolid +2.25

Total: 3.5 Goals

Barcelona (15-2-6) should actually be feeling lucky about the outcome of their last match, where they salvaged a point on the road against Athletic Bilbao. They were really bad on the offensive end and only had a shot on target in each half, while their opponents were much better. That was the third consecutive draw in all competitions for Barcelona, who played for a 1-1 draw at home against Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey. Barcelona are still at the top of the La Liga with 51 points, six ahead of Real Madrid. They have been really good at home so far in the league (8-1-3), where they have five more wins and two draws at home in all competitions, but have not kept a single clean sheet in their last four matches there.

Valladolid (6-9-8) are coming into this match after a really balanced affair at home against the visiting Villarreal. Both teams had their fair share of scoring chances but neither was able to score a goal and had to split the points in a goal-less draw. Valladolid have been in really bad form over the past few months, winning just once in their last 10 matches in all competitions (1-5-4). They are sitting at the 15th spot of the league table with 26 points, just three ahead of the relegation zone. Valladolid have been quite competitive on the road so far (3-4-5), with nine of their 12 away matches featuring Under 2.5 Goals. However, Valladolid have been really bad on the road lately, winning just once in their last eight matches in all competitions (1-5-2).

Barcelona have also been great as hosts against Valladolid over the past couple of decades (8-0-3), winning each of the last five. They also beat them by 1-0 on the road earlier in the season and have now won nine of the last ten against this opponent.

Barcelona do have a crucial Champions League match coming up but they can certainly overcome a struggling Valladolid side in home ground.
