Monaco are still having a season to forget but they have shown signs of life lately and will probably save themselves from relegation. They are starting to build an undefeated streak and will now have a chance to add to it when they will host Nantes on Saturday. Nantes are still in shock after the shocking news about Emiliano Sala but still managed to win their last match. They have been in solid shape lately and can certainly cause problems here.

Spread: Nantes +0.75

Total: 2.5 Goals

Monaco (4-13-7) are coming into this match after a really hard-fought 2-2 draw on the road against Montpellier. They took the lead twice in that match but their opponents scored a late penalty kick at the stoppage time for the final 2-2. Monaco are undefeated in their last three matches in all competitions (1-0-2) but are still struggling to find stability. They are currently sitting at the 18th spot of the league table with 19 points, one below the relegation zone. Monaco only recently recorded their first home win in the league, where they have been really bad overall (1-7-4). They also have four more losses, a draw and a win at home in other competitions but the truth is that they have a really good roster and should improve soon.

Nantes (7-11-6) will surely be delighted about the outcome of their last match, where they beat Caen by 1-0 in the late stages. It was a pretty hard match though, as Nantes were left with 10 men early in the first half but they kept fighting and eventually scored the winning goal at the 80th minute from the penalty spot. Nantes have been trying to cope with forward Emiliano Salas’ passing, who was involved in a plane accident. Even so, they have won three of their last four but are still in a fragile state. They are sitting at the 14th spot of the league table with 27 points, eight ahead of Monaco and the relegation zone. They have not been anything special on the road so far (3-7-2), winning each of their last two by 1-0 but losing five in a row prior to that. Moreover, each of their last five away matches featured one goal exactly (2-3-0).

Monaco are dying for some stability right now and Nantes are still in shock after the news about Sala. Monaco should better wake up and get three points against a vulnerable side here.

They beat Nantes by an easy 3-1 on the road in the first round of the Ligue 1 and have now won four of the last five against this opponent. They have also been excellent as hosts against Nantes in recent years, winning each of the last five here and conceding just two goals in the process.
