2020 MLB Opening Day Odds from Vegas
Major League Baseball officials are certainly excited for Opening Day to get here, and it appears that the guys at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook are too. The SuperBook has just released lines for all 15 Opening Day matchups for Thursday, March 26. This year’s Opening Day celebration is the earliest in league history. All eyes will be on Houston as the Astros host the LA Angels and new manager Joe Maddon. Houston has opened as a -160 favorite on the moneyline with the total at 7.5 runs. The defending World Series champs, the Washington Nationals, have opened as a small +110 underdog at the New York Mets. These two teams opened the 2019 season, with Jacob deGrom defeating Max Scherzer 2-0.

Moneyline prices are usually a little subdued at the start of the season as teams look to find their footing, but there are some massive numbers on Opening Day. In the NL West, the LA Dodgers have opened as -330 favorites over the San Francisco Giants. In the AL Central, the Cleveland Indians have opened as a -280 favorite over the Detroit Tigers. But the New York Yankees have taken the Opening Day cake as the Bronx Bombers open as -450 favorites over the Baltimore Orioles.
