FC Dallas made a solid start in the season but met a slim loss against Columbus. They will now return at home for their next assignment, where they will host Colorado on Saturday. The Rapids have not been anything special in their three matches so far. In fact they looked quite poor and will have a tough time getting points here.

FC Dallas (1-1-1) started the season with a 1-1 draw at home against New England in a balanced match. They went on to beat the LA Galaxy by an easy 0-2 at home in their second match of the season. But in their third match they met a slim 0-1 loss on the road against Columbus Crew. Columbus were really good in the first half and took the lead at the 10th minute with Sauro. FC Dallas tried really hard in the second half but were unable to take anything from that match. They are now sitting at the 7th spot of the Western Conference with 4 points.

On the other hand, Colorado (0-2-1) are coming off a really frustrating 1-1 draw at home against Sporting Kansas City. The two teams struggled to get shots on the opposing target but Colorado finally took the lead at the 54th minute. But they committed a foul at the 87th minute that resulted in a red card for Blomberg. That gave Sporting Kansas City the chance to pull even at the very next minute, and the two teams eventually settled for a 1-1 draw. Colorado have yet to win a match this season and are sitting 9th with 2 points. Luckily for them there are other teams doing much worse right now.

The two teams met twice last season, after a 1-1 draw in this venue it was Colorado who won by 1-2 at home. But that was their first win after a five-match win-less streak against FC Dallas (0-2-3).

Moreover, FC Dallas have been great as hosts against Colorado over the years. They have been really good over the past decade (8-3-4) and certainly have the first word here.

MLS FC Dallas vs Colorado Rapids Prediction: FC Dallas -1 (-113)
