Odds to Win 2019 MLS Cup
The 2019 MLS season is off and kicking. The full schedule of matches witnessed Toronto FC travel to Philadelphia to take on the Union. Philadelphia sports newbie Mexican international Marco Fabian. Fabian made a memory in his first match with the Union scoring on a penalty in the 73rd minute. Michael Bradley was the attraction scoring two goals leading Toronto to a 3-1 victory.
Half of the 10 season opening matches on Saturday ended in a draw. The Rapids and Portland Timbers played to a 3-3 draw. International sensation Nani made his Orlando City debut. Orlando played to a 2-2 draw with New York City FC. The Columbus Crew conceded an early goal on their home pitch but eventually earned a draw with the New York Red Bulls.
The New England Revolution departed the Lone Star State with 1-1 draw against FC Dallas. Elsewhere in Texas the Houston Dynamo and Real Salt Lake matched the Revolution and Dallas final ending the game in Houston 1-1. Vancouver and Minnesota tangled in a high scoring 3-2 result with United coming out on top.
LA Galaxy knocked off the visiting Chicago Fire in a 2-1 final. FC Cincinnati made its MLS debut against Seattle that saw the Sounders route FC Cincy 4-1. Defending MLS Cup champion Atlanta United visited D.C. United on Sunday with a surprising result that saw the reigning champs fall 2-0.
The final match of the weekend was between two MLS Cup contenders. Sporting Kansas City lost by a 2-1 margin to Los Angeles FC.
