UFC 235 Fight Card Odds: Askren debuts -280
The UFC circuit returns to the Las Vegas Strip on March 2 inside the T-Mobile Arena for UFC 235. The strong card is positioned and the octagon offers exciting bouts from the bottom to the top of the scheduled events.
Vegas’ UFC 235 main event is the most lopsided on paper. Vegas’ favorite Jon Jones will defend his light heavyweight championship. Jones earned the fight with his victory at UFC 232 against Anthony “Lionheart” Smith. Furthermore Jones met with a failed drug test hurdle that supposedly was a result of a sample prior to UFC 232. Certainly he was gifted a one-fight license by the state of Nevada allowing him a first defense of that light heavyweight belt.
The co-main event features welterweight champion Tyron Woodley and Kamaru Usman. Also in late January there was debate on which fighter Woodley would face, this being Usman or interim champion Colby Covington. The UFC powers-that-are issued Usman the bout.
In a three-round title event the UFC debuts welterweight Ben Askren against the legendary Robbie Lawler.
