NASCAR Gander RV 400
The Monster Mile plays host to a large number of crazed NASCAR faithful this weekend at legendary Dover International Speedway. The 2019 NASCAR schedule offers up the Gander RV 400 on Sunday, May 5th. The race is set to find the green flag drop at 2:00 p.m. ET. NASCAR Gander RV 400 Odds and Props.
Kyle Busch enters Sunday’s Dover event as the race day favorite. And for good reason. The younger Busch brother has three wins on the season and has finished in the top 10 in every 2019 event. Busch etched his name into the history last week at Talladega Speedway. In this case it wasn’t because Busch took the checkered flag. But more notable is that Busch finished in the top 10 this past Sunday at Talladega. For the first time since 1990 a driver has placed in the top 10 in every official NASCAR event to begin the season.
Busch is the morning-line 3-1 favorite in the latest Westgate of Las Vegas 2019 Gander RV 400 Odds. Busch is followed by Kevin Harvick (4-1), Brad Keselowski, Martin Truex Jr., and Joey Logano all at 8-1 to round out the Top-5 drivers most likely to succeed on the short oval in Dover.
Dover Driver Overview
Kyle Busch 3-1
It is difficult to pass on a Busch Gander RV 400 win due simply to his short odds. There isn’t a driver on the NASCAR circuit that is more engaged on race day all the while sitting behind the wheel of a car that has been dialed in all season.
Kevin Harvick 4-1
Harvick didn’t compete last weekend in Alabama. The Talladega event saw Harvick finish in 38th place.. However, conquering Talledega is a different animal than Dover. Harvick is the defending champion at this race and has finished second or better in three of his last seven races on the track.
Harvick has placed in the top 10 in seven of his last nine races overall so giving him a pass on his poor performance last weekend isn’t crazy.
