Odds to Win Auto Club 400
The NASCAR two-week West Coast tour is readying to take the green flag. Sunday’s 2019 Auto Club 400 is less than 24 hours from racing. Fontana, California hosts the Auto Club 400 with a scheduled start at 3:30 p.m. ET. The 2019 Monster Energy Cup Series finds Kyle Busch and Keven Harvick as the co-favorites in Fontana. Odds to Win Auto Club 400: Busch and Harvick 9-2.
Denny Hamlin, who won the Daytona 500, is 18-1 to win at Fontana according to the Las Vegas SuperBook. His odds are reflective of the Auto Club 400 being a different animal than the restrictor-plate event that Hamlin won at Daytona. That said, Hamlin has had plenty of success at Auto Club Speedway, finding him winning three different times in his career.
Busch, last week’s winner in Phoenix and top of the Westgate chart to catch the checkered flag at Fontana, has 14 top-10 finishes in 20 career starts at Auto Club Speedway. In those 20 starts Busch has three first place finishes.
Behind Busch and Harvick on this weekend’s most likely to win in Fontana; Brad Keselowski, Martin Truex Jr., Kyle Larson and Joey Logana are all 6-1. And Ryan Blaney and Aric Almirola join Hamlin at 18-1 who are in front of the Erick Jones and Kurt Busch pair at 20-1.
