Odds to Win OReilly Auto Parts 500
Veteran NASCAR and Las Vegas driver Kyle Busch has been money in the first month-plus of the 2019 racing season. Busch earned his fourth straight NASCAR Trucks Series victory Friday night at Texas Motor Speedway and is the betting favorite for this afternoon’s O’Reilly Auto Parts 500. Odds to Win OReilly Auto Parts 500: Johnson on Pole.
Busch pushed his NASCAR-record victory total to 202 and his Trucks record to 55. The Kyle version of the Busch brothers began his current run of stellar form at Atlanta and followed with victories in his home town Las Vegas and then in Martinsville.
Future Hall of Famer Jimmie Johnson will start on the pole at Texas, where he is a seven-time winner. Johnson and the Hendrick Motorsports team took the top three qualifying spots Friday. William Byron was second, and Chase Elliott third.
The last time Johnson won the pole at the 1 1/2-mile Texas track was 2012. He won from the pole that day, and has won at Texas five more times since then.
