In Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals, last season’s finalists and fourth-seeded Cavaliers (50-32) are hosting once again the second-seeded Boston Celtics (55-27) after bouncing back in Game 3 in a dominant fashion, destroying them with a 30-point deficit and cutting their lead to 2-1. Cavs finished the regular season with a 50-32 record (32-49-1 ATS). They were placed 4th in the East and in their last game they snapped a two-game losing streak. LeBron James leads the team in scoring with 32.9 ppg. The All-Star Forwards also adds 8.9 boards per game and a team high 9.4 dimes per game. Kevin Love follows with 15.3 ppg and a team high 10.6 boards per game, while Kyle Korver adds 10.4 ppg.

Celtics finished the regular season with a 54-26 record (50-30-2 ATS). They were placed 2nd in the East and in their last game they saw a three-game winning streak getting snapped. The rookie Jayson Tatum leads the team in scoring with 18.1 ppg, adding 4.3 boards per game. He is followed by Jaylen Brown with 17.3 ppg and 4.9 boards, while Terry Rozier adds 17.1 ppg, 5.4 boards and a team high 5.4 dimes per game.

In game 3 on Saturday, the Cavaliers gave the Celtics no chance and got a 15-point lead from the opening quarter that they never lost for an easy 116-86 win that cut the Celtics’ lead to 2-1 in the series. Six Cavaliers players had double digits in scoring and they held the Celtics into just 39.2% from the field.

Both teams are tied 3-3 wins this season with the Cavs being 2-0 at home. Cavs are 35-13 at home, while Celtics are 28-18 on the road. Celtics are better both offensively, scoring 103.3 ppg to Cavs’ 102.2, while both teams are almost equal defensively, allowing a second and third-best of 101.5 and 101.6 ppg. Cavaliers have a better field goal percentage (46% to 44.6%), while Celtics have a better 3-point percentage (35.3% to 34.9%). Celtics are better in rebounding (42.5 to 39.5), in assists made (21.4 to 19.7) and in turnovers committed (12.1 to 12.4). Cavs bounced back in an emphatic way and showed that they are not match for the Celtics in Cleveland. Vegas odds give them a -6.5 spread and expect them to beat the odds once again.
