Miami Heat vs Utah Jazz NBA Prediction, Pick & Spread – Wed, 2/12

Heat vs Jazz Prediction

The Utah Jazz were on a 5-game SU losing streak heading into last Friday vs. Blazers, which came on the heels of a 19-2 SU run. While it’s too soon to panic, the move of Mike Conley back into the starting lineup has yet to produce any dividends, as it’s obvious the team is into another adjustment phase to reintegrate him into the flow. But no escaping fact that Utah played better without Conley, so we’ll see how this proceeds.

Current Odds: Jazz -4.5 | O/U 217
Date and Tip-Off: Wednesday, February 12, 2020 | 9:05 PM (EST)
Location: Vivint Smart Home Arena (Salt Lake City, UT)

We’d be more willing to give Miami a look if Heat played a bit better on the road, and Eriik Spoelstra’s bunch had dropped 6 of last 9 vs. spread away into Sacto last Friday. Not sure how much the recently-added Andre Iguodola is ready to help, either, as he had been inactive all season until the trade deadline. Still, I would rather not back Utah until Jazz has kicked out of the recent slump. 19-MIA -4′ 107-104 (214U); 18-MIA +4 102-100 (208U), UTAH -8′ 111-84 (212U).

NBA Prediction: Utah Jazz 108 – Miami Heat 107 (updated NBA spread and total)

Milwaukee 116 – INDIANA 103—When Milwaukee has tended to business and not played with its food this season, Bucks have leveled everything in front of them, including Pacers twice by lopsided margins. Indiana gets Victor Oladipo back for the first time this season against Milwaukee, but not sure he’ll make much difference, as he’s still getting his legs back underneath him and finding his rhythm, shooting just 20.5% across his first three games. That will improve, but maybe not for a while. The Bucks remain on a 70-win pace this season, with a +11.8 net rating that compares to the Kevin Durant-Steph Curry Warriors of a few seasons ago. Would rather not go against these guys when relatively sure they’ll be focused, especially with no distractions and a week off upcoming due to All-Star break. 19-Mil -7′ 102-83 (220’U), MIL -8′ 117-89 (220’U); 18-MIL -3′ 118-101 (216O), IND +2 113-97 (218U), Mil -4′ 106-97 (219U), MIL -10 117-98 (223U) TV—ESPN.
