Two teams sitting on opposite sides of the Eastern Conference table are clashing today, when the second-worse Cleveland Cavaliers (18-53), are hosting the team with the best record currently in the league, the Milwaukee Bucks (53-18), with both teams coming off single victories and are looking to turn them into a streak in this game.
Date/Time: 03-20-2019, 19:00 EDT
Spread: Cleveland Cavaliers +10.5
Cleveland Cavaliers have a 18-53 record (33-36-2 against the spread) so far this season and currently sit in the second to last place of the East. In their last game they snapped a three-game losing streak by winning at home against the Pistons with a 126-119 score, beating the odds. They are led in scoring by Kevin Love with 18.3 ppg, adding a team high 11.2 boards per game. He is followed by Jordan Clarkson with 16.8 ppg and 3.4 boards off the bench.
Milwaukee Bucks have a 53-18 record (42-26-3 against the spread) so far this season and currently sit in the first place of the whole NBA. They have won three of their last four matches and in their last game they won at home against the Lakers with a 115-101 score, beating the odds. They are led in scoring by Giannis Antetokounmpo with 27.5 ppg, adding team highs both in dimes made with 6 and in boards grabbed with 12.7 per game. He is followed by Kris Middleton with 17.7 ppg, 6 boards and 4.4 dimes per game.
Bucks have won both previous meetings against the Cavaliers this season (at home by 16 points and on the road by 12). Cavaliers have a 12-24 home record, while the Bucks are 25-12 on the road. Bucks are better both offensively, scoring 117.6 ppg to Cavs’ 104.3 ppg and defensively, allowing 108.5 ppg to Cavs’ 113.5. They also have a better field goal percentage (47.7% to 44.2%), while Cavaliers have a better 3-point percentage (36.1% to 35%). Bucks are better both in dimes made (26 to 20.9) and in boards grabbed (49.4 to 42.5), while Cavaliers are better in turnovers committed (12.6 to 13.4). Bucks are the absolute favorite and Vegas odds give them a -10.5 spread and expect them to beat the odds for an easy road win.
