Game Preview

The Nuggets dropped a 5-point road decision to the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday. That was the
tean’s second loss in a row, coming on the heels of a 26-point defeat at the Detroit Pistons on
Monday. For the season, Denver is 37-17 (29-25 ATS).

The 76ers were last in action on Tuesday, falling by 12 points at home to the Toronto Raptors. That
was the team’s first home contest following a four-game road trip for which they went 2-2.
Philadelphia is 34-20 (25-29) on the year.

Denver Nuggets

Denver is in 2nd place in the Western Conference, 1.5 games behind the conference leading Golden
State Warriors. The club is 7-3 (5-5 ATS) over their last 10 games. The Nuggets are average on the
road at 14-13 (10-17 ATS).

Team totals stand at 27-26-1, with the Over coming in for three of the last four. Nikola Jokic is the
biggest force for the Nuggets. He’s averaging 20.2 ppg, 10.5 boards, and 7.7 apg. Jamal Murray
chips in with 18.5 ppg and 5.0 dimes, while Gary Harris is contributing 14.8 ppg.

Philadelphia 76ers

Philadelphia occupies 5th place in the Eastern Conference, 6.5 games behind the 1st place
Milwaukee Bucks. The team is 6-4 (5-5 ATS) over the last 10, and they have been stout at home with
a mark of 21-6 (14-13 ATS). The club is 29-25 on totals, but the Under has been the correct call for
four straight.

The 76ers made a splash before the trade deadline by acquiring Tobias Harris. No word on whether
or not he’ll be suiting up tonight as of yet. Joel Embiid leads the way in scoring with 27.4 ppg and
13.5 boards. Jimmy Butler is adding in 18.0 ppg, while Ben Simmons tops the team in dimes at 8.0
apg and chips in 17.0 ppg for good measure.

Nuggets vs. 76ers Prediction

These two teams hooked up in Denver last month. The hosts walked off the court with a 126-110 win
in a game which they were favored by 10.5 points. Philadelphia had won the previous three meetings
prior to that.

The Nuggets aren’t great on the road, and they have hit a rough patch while dropping their last two.
The 76ers have been solid on the home court, and the squad should have a little more pep in its step
after the acquisition of Harris. We like the hosts to win and cover.

Denver Nuggets vs. Philadelphia 76ers Pick: Philadelphia 76ers -4.5 (-110)
