Two teams sitting in and out of the playoff places of the West are clashing tonight, when the Phoenix Suns (16-52), coming off their biggest victory of the season against the defending champions on the road, are hosting the Utah Jazz (37-29), who on the other hand are looking to end their current small losing streak.

Date/Time: 03-13-2019, 22:00 EDT

Spread: Phoenix Suns +7.5

Total: +221.5

Phoenix Suns have a 16-52 record (31-37 against the spread) so far this season and currently sit in the last place of the West. They have won four of their last five matches and in their last game they won on the road against the Warriors with a 115-111 score, beating the odds. They are led in scoring by Devin Booker with 25.1 ppg, adding 4.1 boards and a team high 6.7 dimes per game. He is followed by TJ Warren with 18 ppg and 4 boards per game he is out with an injury.

Utah Jazz have a 37-29 record (33-31-2 against the spread) so far this season and currently sit in the 8th place of the West. They have lost three of their last four matches and in their last game they lost at home against the Thunder with an 89-98 score, not beating the odds. They are led in scoring by Donovan Mitchell with 23.5 ppg, adding 4 boards and 4.1 dimes per game. He is followed by Rudy Gobert with 15.3 ppg and a team high 12.8 boards per game.

In their previous meeting earlier this season the Jazz won at home with a 116-88 score. Suns have a 10-23 home record, while the Jazz are 16-16 on the road. Jazz are better both offensively, scoring 109.9 ppg to Suns’ 107 and defensively, allowing 106.8 pgg to Suns’ 115.9. Both teams have almost identical field goal percentage (46% to 45.7%), while Jazz have a better 3-point percentage (34.8% to 32.9%). Jazz are better in boards grabbed (45.9 to 40.3), in dimes made (25.2 to 23.9) and in turnovers committed (14.8 to 15.2). Jazz are the favorite for the win but Vegas odds give them a -7.5 spread and don’t expect them to beat the odds and pick the Suns in this one.
