In this battle between two teams sitting outside the top-8 of their respective conference, the New York Knicks (13-52), looking to end their current losing streak once again, are hosting the Sacramento Kings (32-32), who are also struggling having won only once in their last 5 games.

Date/Time: 03-09-2019, 12:00 EDT

Spread: New York Knicks +5

Total: +226.5

New York Knicks have a 13-52 record (27-37-1 against the spread) so far this season and currently sit in the last place of the whole league. They have four consecutive losses and in their last game they lost on the road against the Suns with a 96-107 score, not beating the odds. They are led in scoring by Dennis Smith Jr with 15.1 ppg, adding and a team high 6.4 dimes per game. He is followed by Emmanuel Mudiay with 14.4 ppg and 3.7 dimes per game.

Sacramento Kings have a 32-32 record (37-26-1 against the spread) so far this season and currently sit in the 9th place of the West. They have lost four of their last five matches and in their last game they lost at home against the Celtics with a 109-111 score. They are led in scoring by Buddy Hield with 21 ppg, adding 5.3 boards per game. He is followed by De’Aaron Fox with 17.2 ppg, 3.7 boards and a team high 7.2 dimes per game.

In their previous meeting earlier this season the Kings won at home with a 115-108 score. Knicks have a 6-25 home record, while the Kings are 12-18 on the road. Kings are better offensively, scoring 113.8 ppg to Knicks’ 105.8, while Knicks are better defensively, allowing 114.2 ppg to Kings’ 115. Kings have better percentages both in field goals (46.4% to 43.3%) and in 3-pointers (37.6% to 34.1%). They are better in boards grabbed (45.3 to 44.6) and in dimes made (25.6 to 19.9), while both teams are almost equal in turnovers committed (13.2 to 13.4). Vegas odds give the Kings a -5 spread and expect them to beat the odds against the weakest team currently in the league.
