Two teams sitting in and out of the playoff places of the East are clashing tonight, when the team that currently holds the best record in the league, the Milwaukee Bucks (41-13), who have been red-hot having lost once in their last thirteen games, are hosting the Orlando Magic (23-32), who are looking to turn their latest victory into a streak.
Date/Time: 02-09-2019, 21:00 EDT
Spread: Milwaukee Bucks -11.5
Milwaukee Bucks have a 41-13 record (32-19-3 against the spread) so far this season and currently sit in the first place of the whole NBA. They have won 12 of their last 13 matches and in their last game they won on the road against the Mavericks with a 122-107 score, beating the odds. They are led in scoring by Giannis Antetokounmpo with 27 ppg, adding team highs both in dimes made with 5.8 and in boards grabbed with 12.5 per game. He is followed by Kris Middleton with 17.3 ppg, 5.8 boards and 4.2 dimes per game.
Orlando Magic have a 23-32 record (28-26-1 against the spread) so far this season and are currently tied with the Wizards in the 10th place of the East. They have won three of their last four matches and in their last game they won at home against the Timberwolves with a 122-112 score, beating the odds. They are led in scoring by Nikola Vucevic with 20.6 ppg, adding 3.8 dimes and a team high 11.9 boards per game. He is followed by Aaron Gordon with 15.9 ppg, 3.6 dimes and 7.4 boards per game.
Bucks have won both previous meetings against the Magic earlier this season (at home by 22 points and on the road by 10). Bucks have a 23-4 home record, while the Magic are 8-17 on the road. Bucks are better offensively, scoring 117.8 ppg to Magic’s 104.9, while both teams are almost equal defensively, allowing 107.6 and 107.9 ppg. Bucks have better percentages both in field goals (48.3% to 44.8%) and in 3-pointers (35.3% to 34.9%). Bucks are also better both in dimes made (26.4 to 24.6) and in boards grabbed (48.7 to 43.7), while Magic are better in turnovers committed (13.1 to 13.7). Bucks are the absolute favorite at home and Vegas odds give them a -11.5 spread and expect them to beat the odds for an easy win tonight.
