With the guests coming up with a surprise road victory and taking a 1-0 lead in the series and making the break, we have Game 2 of this Eastern Conference quarterfinal as the second-seeded Toronto Raptors (58-24), looking to bounce back and reclaim the lost home court advantage are hosting once again the seventh-seeded Orlando Magic (42-40).

Date/Time: 04-16-2019, 20:00 EDT

Spread: Toronto Raptors -10

Total: +212

Toronto Raptors finished the regular season with a 58-24 record (38-44 against the spread) and were placed 2nd in the East. In their last game they saw a two-game winning streak getting snapped by losing at home against the Magic in game 1 with a 101-104 score, not beating the odds. They are led in scoring by Kawhi Leonard with 25 ppg, adding 6 boards per game. He is followed by Pascal Siakam with 24 ppg and a team high 9 boards per game.

Orlando Magic finished the regular season with a 42-40 record (45-36-1 against the spread) and were placed 7th in the East. They have won six of their last seven matches and in their last game they won on the road against the Hornets with a 122-114 score, beating the odds. They are led in scoring by D.J. Augustin with 25 ppg, adding a team high 6 dimes per game. He is followed by Evan Fournier with 16 ppg, while Jonathan Isaac adds 11 ppg and 8 boards per game.

In their five previous meetings the Magic led the Raptors 2-1 wins and were 2-1 in Toronto. Raptors have a 32-10 home record, while the Magic are 18-24 on the road. Raptors are better offensively, scoring 114.3 ppg to Magic’s 107.3, while Magic are better defensively, allowing 106.5 ppg to Raptors’ 108.3. Raptors have better percentages both in field goals (47.3% to 45.3%) and in 3-pointers (36.6% to 35.7%). Both teams are almost equal in boards grabbed (45.5 to 45.2) and in dimes made (25.5 to 25.4), while Magic are better in turnovers committed (12.6 to 13.3). Raptors will not be as bad for a second straight home game and Vegas odds give them a -10 spread and expect them to beat the odds for an easy home win.
