In this all-Eastern showdown, two teams sitting in and out of the playoff places of the conference are clashing, when the Toronto Raptors (44-16), who have lost only once in their last 9 games, are hosting the Orlando Magic (27-33), who on the other hand are looking to bounce back after their latest defeat.

Date/Time: 02-24-2019, 15:30 EDT

Spread: Toronto Raptors -9

Total: +218.5

Toronto Raptors have a 44-16 record (26-34 against the spread) so far this season and currently sit in the second place of the East. They have won eight of their last nine matches and in their last game they won at home against the Spurs with a 120-117 score, not beating the odds. They are led in scoring by Kawhi Leonard with 26.9 ppg, adding a team high 7.6 boards per game. He is followed by Pascal Siakam with 16.2 ppg and 6.9 boards per game.

Orlando Magic have a 27-33 record (33-26-1 against the spread) so far this season and are currently tied with the Heat in the 9th place of the East. In their last game they saw a five-game winning streak getting snapped by losing at home against the Bulls with a 109-110 score, not beating the odds. They are led in scoring by Nikola Vucevic with 20.5 ppg, adding 3.9 dimes and a team high 12.1 boards per game. He is followed by Aaron Gordon with 15.8 ppg, 3.6 dimes and 7.3 boards per game.

In their two previous meetings earlier this season each team won once (Raptors on the road by 2 points and Magic at home by 29). Raptors have a 25-5 home record, while the Magic are 11-17 on the road. Raptors are better offensively, scoring 114.4 ppg to Magic’s 105.9, while Magic are better defensively, allowing 106.9 ppg to Raptors’ 108.8. Raptors have a better field goal percentage (46.9% to 45.1%), while Magic have a better 3-point percentage (35.3% to 34.8%). Raptors are better in boards grabbed (45.2 to 44.4), while both teams are almost equal both in dimes made (25 to 24.6) and in turnovers committed (12.9 to 13). Raptors are the absolute favorite and Vegas odds give them a -9 spread and expect them to beat the odds for an easy home win.
