Two teams sitting within the top-8 of their respective conference are clashing today, when the fourth in the West Portland Trail Blazers (45-27), are hosting the sixth in the East Brooklyn Nets (38-36), with both teams having won their last three and two games respectively and are looking to extend those winning streaks in this game.

Date/Time: 03-25-2019, 22:00 EDT

Spread: Portland Trail Blazers -6

Total: +225.5

Portland Trail Blazers have a 45-27 record (40-31-1 against the spread) so far this season and currently sit in the 4th place of the West. They have won six of their last seven matches and in their last game they won at home against the Pistons with a 117-112 score. They are led in scoring by Damian Lillard with 26.3 ppg, adding 4.5 boards and a team high 6.7 dimes per game. He is followed by CJ McCollum with 21.3 ppg and 4 boards per game but he is out with an injury.

Brooklyn Nets have a 38-36 record (40-34 against the spread) so far this season and are currently tied with the Pistons in the 6th place of the East. They have back-to-back wins and in their last game they won on the road against the Lakers with a 111-106 score, beating the odds. They are led in scoring by D’Angelo Russell with 20.7 ppg, adding a team high 6.9 dimes per game. He is followed by Spencer Dinwiddie with 17.4 ppg and 4.7 dimes per game.

In their previous meeting earlier this season the Blazers won on the road with a 99-113 score. Blazers have a 28-9 home record, while the Nets are 17-20 on the road. Blazers are better both offensively, scoring 114.1 ppg to Nets’ 111.6 and defensively, allowing 110.4 ppg to Nets’ 111.9. They also have better percentages both in field goals (46.6% to 44.9%) and in 3-pointers (36% to 35.3%). Nets on the other hand are better in dimes made (23.8 to 22.8), while Blazers are better both in boards grabbed (47.6 to 46) and in turnovers committed (13.5 to 14.4). Blazers are the absolute favorite and Vegas odds give them a -6 spread and expect them to beat the odds for the home victory.
