Game Preview

The 76ers enter tonight’s game off a rough 130-115 home loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on
Saturday. That defeat snapped a two-game winning streak. Philadelphia is 38-22 (28-32 ATS) thus
far. The team is in 4th place in the Eastern Conference, 7.5 games behind the 1st place Milwaukee
Bucks.

The Pelicans were also in action on Saturday, picking up a 13-point home win over the Los Angeles
Lakers. That was the club’s second victory in its last three outings. For the year, New Orleans is 27-
34 (29-31-1 ATS). They’re in 12th place in the Western Conference, 16 games off the conference
lead and six games out of a playoff spot.

Philadelphia 76ers

Philadelphia is two games behind the 3rd place Indiana Pacers in the east, and just a single game in
front of the 5th place Boston Celtics. The team is 6-4 (5-5 ATS) over the last 10 with victories in four
of the last six. The 76ers are average on the road with a mark of 14-14 (12-16 ATS) thus far.

Team totals stand at 33-28 for the year with the Over coming in for three of the last five. The team
has been without the services of leading scorer and rebounder Joel Embiid, who is expected to be out
until March with a knee injury. Tobias Harris is averaging 19.0 ppg and 7.8 boards, while Jimmy
Butler is contributing 18.7 ppg and 3.8 dimes.

New Orleans Pelicans

New Orleans hit a rough patch from late January into February, but the team has looked a little better
in recent times. For the last 10, the Pelicans are 4-6 (6-4 ATS). The team has been pretty solid at
home with a record of 18-11 (15-14 ATS) to date.

Team totals have been Over for the last three in a row and check in at 33-28 on the year. Anthony
Davis leads the charge for the Pelicans with 27.8 ppg and 12.8 boards. Jrue Holiday contributes 21.0
ppg and 7.9 apg, while Julius Randle chips in with 20.1 ppg and 8.9 rpg.

76ers vs. Pelicans Prediction

These two clubs last met in November on Philadelphia’s home court. The 76ers walked away with a
one-point victory in a game for which they were 3.5-point favorites. Philadelphia has victories in
three of its last five versus New Orleans. The Pelicans are 1.5-point home favorites tonight, but we
like the visitors to get the job done and pick up the win.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. New Orleans Pelicans Pick: Philadelphia 76ers +1.5 (-110)
