Game Preview

The Spurs enter tonight’s game with a mark of 32-23 (31-23-1 ATS). The team is in 6th place in the
west, 6.5 games back of the Warriors. They were in action Monday night on the road versus the
Sacramento Kings, coming out on the wrong side of a 15-point decision.
The Warriors have been off since Saturday night when they dropped the hammer on the Los Angeles
Lakers to the tune of 115-101.This will be the club’s third straight home game, and they are 1-1 on
the current stand. On the year, Golden State is 37-15 (23-28-1 ATS).

San Antonio Spurs

Monday’s loss to the Kings snapped a five-game winning streak. Over the last 10 games, the Spurs
check in at 7-3 (5-5 ATS). The team has had some struggles on the road thus far with a mark of 10-
16 (13-12-1 ATS). On totals, San Antonio leans towards the Over at 32-22-1.

They have hit that benchmark in six of their last seven. The Spurs will be without the services of both
DeMar DeRozan and Lamarcus Aldridge as both players are being given the night off for rest. In the
absence of their top two stars, Rudy Gay is the leading scorer with averages of 14.2 ppg and 5.5
boards.

Golden State Warriors

The defending champs are cruising along nicely with a mark of 9-1 (5-4-1 ATS) over the last 10.
Their lone loss over that span came by nine points at home to the Philadelphia 76ers last Thursday.
Ar home for the season, Golden State is 19-7 (10-15-1 ATS). Team totals also lean to the high side at
28-24.

However, Warriors games have hit the Under in three of the last four. Stephen Curry leads the way
with 29.2 ppg and 5.3 dimes. Kevin Durant is contributing 27.5 ppg and 7.1 boards. Also in the mix
for this loaded squad is Klay Thompson and his 21.8 ppg.

Spurs vs. Warriors Prediction

This will be the second meeting of the season for these two clubs. The Spurs picked up a 12-point
victory on their home court back in November, a game for which they were favored by three points.
San Antonio seems to be waving the white flag for this one by resting its top two threats. We’re
looking for the Warriors to cruise to victory and cover with ease.
