2019 College Basketball Championship Money and Ticket Totals
Today’s college basketball Saturday marks a point in the season that places us three weeks away from Selection Sunday. Furthermore most conferences are roughly two weeks from the close of the regular season. Most of the campus crews that are capturing future money at the Vegas and Offshore sportsbooks are not considered bubble teams. The majority of the total monies and tickets catching the public’s attention are Top-25 teams.
The local William Hill locals in the Nevada region has seen a large number of total tickets on the Nevada Wolf Pack. The Reno squad’s future odds to win college basketball’s national championship experienced a market slide this past week with a loss to the San Diego State Aztecs. The eight-point defeat to the SoCal Aztecs wasn’t as close as the 65-57 final.
Nevada Wolf Pack Vitals
The Wolf Pack (24-2, 11-2) have a game in hand on second place Mountain West Conference rival Utah State. As a result it is fair to state that the Mountain West title will be decided when Nevada travels to Logan the first week of March.
Lawlor Events Center has been a safe space for the Wolf Pack this year. They are 12-0 on their home floor with an average margin of victory of 23.1 points.
It is easy to be awed by Nevada’s 2018-19 team surface numbers. The Wolf Pack average 81.5 points per game. In addition the squad’s defensive efficiency this season is head and shoulders better than a year ago.
Nevada is experienced as a whole. The roster is big, strong and fun to watch. Consequentially the Wolf Pack have been involved in the second most tickets wagered on in Will Hill’s national championship futures. Above all, however, the strength of their non-conference schedule and that of the Mountain West league as an entirety is the biggest question surrounding Nevada’s true capabilities to compete with Power 6 schools.
