William Hill NFL Week 6 Trends and Odds: Who is the money on?

William Hill NFL Week 6 Trends and Odds

The Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers are the watercooler talk here in the desert this weekend. Question abound about All-Pro running back Todd Gurley. In addition to whether the 49ers will have the services of All-Pro George Kittle. The pair of west coast clubs meet for the first time this season in arguably the most important divisional contest in Week 6.  William Hill NFL Week 6 Trends and Odds: Who is the money on?

The two NFC West rivals both have injury concerns. Furthermore, a form of revenge plays a role today as the 49ers were swept by the Rams last year. And the pair of losses were not just losses but embarrassing blowouts. The Rams earned double-digit victories over the Niners by the score of 39-10 in the Bay Area and 48-32 in Los Angeles. Jared Goff threw for six touchdowns with no interceptions combined in the two games. The Niners were without a healthy Jimmy Garoppolo.

NFL Week 6  Team and Player News

Los Angeles enters this one with a 3-2 record, having lost its last two contests. The defense has struggled mightily the last two weeks, giving up 55 points at home to Tampa Bay and 30 to the Seahawks on the road. Granted, the Rams should probably have beaten Seattle, but they missed a field goal late last Thursday night. Goff has been asked to throw a lot lately, and that’s probably not the best strategy with a back like Todd Gurley on the roster.

Odds on Niners and Patriots 16-0 Record

San Francisco is one of two undefeated teams checking in with a 4-0 record. The Niners have been leaning on running backs Matt Breida and Tevin Coleman on offense, and their stout defense has held each of their opponents to 20 points or fewer. Jimmy Garoppolo has been very efficient, and George Kittle continues to be very productive as well. The tight end finally found the end zone last Monday night against Cleveland.

Will Mahomes have Hill?

Kansas City Chiefs receiver Tyreek Hill (shoulder) is officially active for today’s home game against the Houston Texans. Hill was cleared from his sternoclavicular joint injury on Friday.

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara is expected to play against the Jaguars, sources tell Ian Rapoport. Plus other injuries we’re monitoring ahead of the Week 6 games

With the Steelers on their third starting quarterback of the season, wide receiver Ryan Switzer has assumed the role of emergency QB for Pittsburgh.
