The Cleveland Browns made a splash at the start of the 2019 free agent period and official trade date-line. The Browns were essentially willing to do whatever it took to add a playmaker to the offense and did so by trading for Odell Beckham Jr.’s talent.

The former All-Pro New York Giants wide out is now a Cleveland Brown. Beckham was traded to the Browns along with defensive lineman Olivier Vernon for safety Jabrill Peppers, guard Kevin Zeitler and first- and third-round picks in this year’s draft.

Beckham just signed a five-year $90 million contract this past August in New York. And while the organization speak was that Beckham wasn’t for sale the Giants in fact sold the controversial receiver. And the franchise did so taking a bottom-line money beating.
