The Pittsburgh Steelers Monday Night Football comeback victory over the Cincinnati Bengals at Paul Brown Stadium isn’t anything new. Steelers’ place kicker Chris Boswell’s 38-yard field goal as time expired kept the Steelers at the top of the AFC overall standings with a 10-2 mark and a 23-20 divisional victory. Pittsburgh never led at any point with regulation time on the clock. NFL Week 14 Line Report: Chiefs -3.5 over Raiders.

The Steelers failed to cover the oddsmakers number in last night’s affair in Cincinnati. They came into the game with a remarkable 16-3-2 ATS in the last 21 games at Paul Brown Stadium.

It is an understatement to make claim that injuries, causalities, both among players and coaches, the biggest news in Week #13 of the 2017 NFL slate. Just to mention one of a hundred-and-one incidences from this past NFL weekend was Pittsburgh possibly losing All-Pro linebacker Ryan Shazier to a reported spinal cord injury.

Shazier, the team’s leading tackler, was taken to a local hospital. Following the game, two Steelers players said Shazier had a spinal cord concussion, but there was no immediate confirmation from the team regarding his condition.

Tomlin said postgame, “We’ll release an update at the appropriate time. Right now, we’re just happy he’s getting the necessary medical attention that he deserves.”

AFC PLAYOFF PICTURE
1. Pittsburgh Steelers (10-2)
The Steelers come-from-behind win kept them as the AFC No. 1 seed. They get the Ravens on Sunday night next week followed by their all-important contest against the Patriots in Week #15.

2. New England Patriots (10-2)
The Pats remaining schedule is vanilla. Which franchise is the No #1 seed in the AFC will likely come down to the head-to-head matchup against the Steelers in two weeks.

3. Tennessee Titans (8-4)
As up and down as the Titans have been this season it is hard to believe they currently own the No. 3 seed.

4. Kansas City Chiefs (6-6)
As poorly as the Chiefs have played the last month-plus, losing five of their last six games, it is even harder to believe they own the No #4 seed and still sit atop the AFC West.

Remaining AFC Postseason Hopeful
5. Jacksonville Jaguars (8-4)
6. Baltimore Ravens (7-5)
7. Los Angeles Chargers (6-6)
8. Buffalo Bills (6-6)
9. Oakland Raiders (6-6)
10. New York Jets (5-7)
11. Miami Dolphins (5-7)
12. Cincinnati Bengals (5-7)

NFC PLAYOFF PICTURE
1. Minnesota Vikings (10-2)
Who’d a thunk it. Case Keenum leading the Vikes to 10 wins all season yet alone with a quarter of the regular season yet to be played.

2. Philadelphia Eagles (10-2)
Couldn’t overcome the injury depleted “Legion of Doom” at CenturyLink on Sunday night but still hold a Week #18 bye with four regular season games remaining.

3. Los Angeles Rams (9-3)
The Rams preseason game-by-game futures had the club as a favorite in zero games from Week #2 to Week #16. Breaking News! LA won their ninth game of the season as 7.5-point favorites at University of Phoenix Stadium this past Sunday.

4. New Orleans Saints (9-3)
The Saints win over the Panthers on Sunday afternoon reminded me of the 2009 New Orleans Brees’ that won Super Bowl XLIV.

Remaining NFC Postseason Hopeful
5. Seattle Seahawks (8-4)
6. Carolina Panthers (8-4)
7. Atlanta Falcons (7-5)
8. Detroit Lions (6-6)
9. Green Bay Packers (6-6)
10. Dallas Cowboys (6-6)
11. Washington Redskins (5-7)
12. Arizona Cardinals (5-7)
13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-8)
