The Canucks suffered a 3-0 shutout on the Vegas Strip in their last contest. Vancouver combined for two spans of ice time, over 24 minutes in total, in which they didn’t record a shot on goal in the loss to the Golden Knights.

Jacob Markstrom was stellar in goal at T-Mobile Arena. Markstrom turned aside a season-high 45 shots in the loss. Across his last two starts the Canucks netminder has registered 88 saves in 93 shots on goal.

During the Maple Leafs last six games, winners of five, the Toronto offense has averaged nearly six goals per win. Note that the Leafs were favorites of -186 or larger in four of those victories, vs Montreal, Buffalo, Edmonton and at Calgary, respectively.
