In early November the Houston Astros clinched the franchise’s first World Series championship earning the title with a 5-1 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 7. Odds to Win 2018 World Series (Jan 23).

Although it has seemingly only been a minute since the Astros were crowned the 2017 Fall Classic champs Las Vegas is pushing MLB future for the 2018 World Series.

We have seen the last of future Hall of Famer Carlos Beltran. After two-decades of being a Major Leaguer, starting with the Kansas City Royals, the nine-time All-Star outfielder announced his retirement.

Beltran, 40, hit 14 home runs in his final season and was part of the franchise’s first World Series title.

On Monday, last year’s champs the Houston Astros, claimed left-handed pitcher Buddy Boshers off waivers from Minnesota Twins.

There is still a month before Spring Training begins with a large number of free agents still unsigned. Expect to see the Vegas and Offshore MLB Futures to experience several changes before the season begins in April.
