2016 Summer Olympics Womens Track & Field Odds: CG Technology Props

The Rio 2016 Olympic Games are underway. Before last night’s introduction ceremonies the games had already begun and did so with a women’s football (soccer) match played in front of a small but enthusiastic Olympic Stadium crowd. The match saw Sweden claim a 1-0 victory against South Africa in the opener followed by host nation Brazil defeating China 3-0.

The ultimate countdown has come and gone and it is time for the real show, the athletes. It is worthy of note that the committee was forced to begin the actual games before the Games Opening Ceremony extravaganza. The football tournament started two days before last night’s opening ceremony because of a brutally large soccer schedule.

There are 42 Olympic sport disciplines, with a large number (306 events) of side shows over the course of 19 days of competition with soccer being the only sporting event that will is staged at venues across the country.

One of the more popular Summer Olympic events, Track and Field, takes up the majority of the television time, according to NBC. The NBC television schedule reports that the first major coverage of the Rio Track and Field events will take place on Friday, August 12th, and the network will cover the women’s 100m, women’s 1500m, women’s shot put final, women’s heptathlon, and women’s hammer throw qualifying along with the men’s competition.

CG Technologies at the M Resort has posted their Women’s Track and Field Odds to Win Gold in the following events.
