With each team in the English Premier League sitting with 7 games under their belts, we now have a very clear idea of who will be challenging for the title and the available European spots. We also have a very solid idea of which teams are going to spend the majority of the season engaged in a relegation battle. One thing that has become obvious is that we are probably looking at the same 2-horse race for the title as we saw last season, as both Liverpool and Manchester City look like a class above everyone else. It does look as though we are going to get some serious competition for the Champions League spots, though, as there are some dark horse teams hovering around the top 4 in the early going. Whether they can maintain that pace remains to be seen. One of the teams that have gotten off to a fantastic start is Leicester City, the surprise champions from a few seasons ago. They will have their toughest test of the season on Saturday, though, when they go on the road to face the division leaders Liverpool. It is Liverpool who are the home favorites, with the O/U set at 2 ½.

Why bet on Liverpool
Liverpool had a season for the ages last year, yet they still only managed to finish second behind Manchester City, losing the title by a single point. They look determined to make amends for that this year, though, as they are off to an incredible start, winning all 7 of their games to this point. They are the only team to have achieved that and have very quickly built up a 5-point lead at the top. The Reds will be delighted to get back home after back to back games on the road. They passed a tough test in a 2-1 win over Chelsea before grinding out a 1-0 road win over newcomers Sheffield United. They have been particularly good at home in the early going, winning all 3 games and outscoring the opposition 10-3 in those games.
Why bet on Leicester City
One of the more pleasant surprises this season has been the play of Leicester City. There was a feeling that they might struggle a little after losing Harry Maguire to Manchester United, but manager Brendan Rodgers has spent well in the offseason and built a team that is very fun to watch. As it stands right now, Leicester is sitting in 3rd, just 2 points behind Manchester City in 2nd and 7 points behind the league leaders. It goes without saying that a win here would seriously tighten up the race at the top. Leicester is coming off an emphatic 5-0 win over Newcastle last weekend, but they are a little less open on the road. They are 3-1-1 in road games this season, scoring 3 and surrendering 3.
Expert Pick and Final Score Prediction
If Leicester is to pull out the upset here, they are going to need input from Jamie Vardy, who has 5 goals in 7 games. I think they will be shut down, though, as I like Liverpool to control the game and get the win.
